“Firstly, this GPS unit works. That said, the GPS in my mobile phone is more sensitive and obtains a lock very quickly and usually gives an accuracy of 3m or better. The indoor performance of this unit is at best variable, the accuracy is very good.”
“Works perfectly, just plug it in, install Gpsd and configure and away you go. Had a little bit of an issue trying to use it with Java, but that was probably more of a misunderstanding on my side as I couldn't get Java to connect to the Gpsd externally and nothing happened, however running it all on the Pi worked fine.”
“Noticeably more sensitive than my older garmin handheld unit. Works easily with my laptop, and with a bit of setting up works well with my Raspberry pi. Now have a Raspberry pi location tracking system for my narrowboat travels. So happy with it I shall buy another for my laptop.”
