“love the device, its a bit expensive compared to other offerings of the same device as its assing over £100 to the price. i know theres a memory/ssd ricing issue right now so ive accepted it and bought it. brilliant device as i got the 16gb version so plenty of oomph. please piehut, justify the price increase between versions as i couldnt see one.... but i wanted the best one so i paid the ripoff fee as i have categorised it. too much money and want that now mentality”
“This is a very nice piece of kit - with a lovely keyboard and I appreciate the whopping 16GB of RAM.
And the light show when the machine starts up is something to behold!
One niggle: The 27 watt power supply cable is about half a metre too short for my desk setup. Easily remedied with a suitable USB-C power extension cable.”
“I ought this and a 15" Display. The display is black and I would've liked to buy a black 500+ to match - but that really doesn't matter.
The Pi 500+ is a really nice machine.
The only criticism I would make is that the 27 watt power supply's cable is a little short - but I can get around that.”
“I bought this kit for fun and because it includes the Wolfram Language.
But _ the font is much too small, keyboards are not works of art, they are functional only. I'm not going to buy a replacement set of keys. No doubt I will get used to it instead of enlarging pictures of the keyboard.
