No issues yet and it's keeping a 16GB Pi 5 happy with the above SSD in a Pironman 5 case with all the RGBness! That'll do nicely. Power to the people, which is something the UK desperately needs.

The power supply seems to do what it says on the box; however, my pi5 one of the early release models, where I had a get a priority code, is the most intermittently unreliable piece of tech I have ever owned and reminds me of my 1997 model Jaguar XJSport 3.2 V8, which like the Pi5 flew like the Millenium Falcon, but when it breaks down, it sure does break down, but when it works, yeah it can fly, especially with a NVME base ;-)

It has a good performance. The output voltage started at 5.1V without any load and stayed on 5.1V with 4.5A load.

In order to ensure I could power my USB touchscreen monitor in addition to the Raspberry Pi 5, this power supply did the trick perfectly.

On the surface the psu appears to have improved performance relative to the 27W psu. This is good and helpful as it passes a test when I tried it.The psu looks good and works well,is good value and was delivered promptly.

I almost gave this power supply 4*, but then I realised that it wasn't fair because my demands are higher that what would be expected of this adapter! The power supply is absolutely spot on for powering the Pi, as well as the Star Adventurer mount that I have it controlling. The only reason that I was considering droping a star is that it can't power both the Star Adventurer mount and the astrocamera at the same time: an easy fix by making sure the mount has batteries in it! If you're looking for a rock solid power supply for your RPi5 without expecting it to also make you breakfast, you've come to the right place!
