“Nice to have the OS pre-loaded, but of course anybody who buys a 64-bit Pi will want to reflash to the 64-bit OS. Quite easy to do as you just power on while holding the Shift key. Normally the whole reflash operation only takes a few minutes, however I had one set up that took a couple of hours to complete the "writing" stage. Not sure if it was an issue with the Pi-5 or the SD card, but all appears to be working now as it should.”
“Take care with this one. The Raspberry Pi 5 requires the 64bit version of the RPi OS to obtain its full functionality. The preloaded OS on the card that I received with my Pi 5 order was the 32bit version. This version is universal to the Pi SBCs but not the best for the Pi5. The issue is that features like Pi Connect are visible on the Pi 5 but do not work because you have the wrong OS version. That said, the card itself is excellent. I would be giving this product 5 stars if it were not for the OS version issue.”
