“I bought my 2nd PI 5 to create a Home Assistant server for one of my children. It's a lovely bit of kit and really easy to use. As I bought active cooling, the fan header is an excellent addition, but also the switch, so much easier to non-tech folk to 'turn off' the pi.
As usual, the layout is clean, and plugging devices into it via the USB ports give a snug fit, as do the Micro HDMI and USB-C ports.
My only drawback is more and more devices use USB-C, and with only USB-A ports I had to buy a couple of USB-C female to USB male cables to do the conversion. I'd prefer a 2nd USB-C port over a 2nd Micro HDMI.”
