“A great product that can used as a standard hub with low power requirements, or add in additional USB-C power for the more hungry devices. Does exactly what I needed for PC or Pi usage.”
“From the ouside, product seemingly decently built. Didn't look inside.
Expecting appropriate efficacy and efficiency on the long run versus non-Raspberry Pi branded PSUs or fake or compatible ones bearing the Raspberry Pi name and logo.
Very basic and light. Very short cord.
Improvements. Would need detachable cord and LEDs, at the very least for the power delivery port if not all the ports. Tested with Raspberry Pi 27W USB-C power supply unit.
Product not made in UKNI but in communist China or Cambodia.
I thought the 'non-profit' organisation The Pi Foundation claimed their products are made in the UK?
On an ancilliary topic, it would be good for non-UKNI clients if The Pi Hut could fully handle foreign taxation to save the extra fees applied when the packet is received abroad. Reason for ordering from The Pi Hut is the unavailability of numerous The Pi Foundation products elsewhere in non-UKNI market and the relative competitiveness when it came to pricing.”
“USB3 hub with aux power input. Still experimenting with this to test its limits, but so far so good. I am looking forward to trying to build an extra powered cluster of gadget mode Pi Zeros using this hub. Also I think this might be good for building an extra powered NAS using USB SATA adapters.”
