As expected and good value for money. Delivery was on time as far as I recall.

A very smart little board, can be fiddly to get good connections if your soldering skills aren't good (like mine)

The Pico 2 W is proving to be an excellent microcontroller which I'm using as an MQTT gateway to send messages to separate RP2040 microcontrollers that switch points, change signals and track locos on my model railway. I'd have preferred a USB C rather than a micro USB port, but as programming over WiFi is an option it's not a huge problem. I'll definitely be trying them again for future projects!

I use a lot of pico's for my home projects. Although I've used Arduino's, ESPs, Wemos D1s I usually come back to the pico because of its price point and capability. This is the first time I've experimented with the Pico 2 W and so far I've connected to my WiFi with ease and am working on an MQTT project for home monitoring. It is really a fantastic microcontroller for dipping toes into the water with maker projects. Price and python support is top notch. I want to use other micro's but I am just drawn back to the pico because of its price!
