The new SSD was fitted very easily, and after a reboot I cloned the old SD onto the new SSD using Raspberry Pi Imager. That didn't take long, then I shut the Pi down, removed the SD, started it again, and it booted very quickly indeed from the new SSD. Boot time is far faster than from SD, although I haven't quantified that. Altogether a very satisfactory experience and I'm pleased indeed.

Great small form factor SSD in it's rather short M.2 guise. I hope we see bigger capacities in the future. Contemplating dual booting between RPi OS and PiMiga if I figure out the intracies. Just got RPi OS on it right now. We shall see... PiMiga might be destined for the Pi 500+ (they gotta call it that, ideally with a numeric keypad as well as the SSD and 16GB... )

Great compact little SSD. I’ve had no issues with it. Works with the pi in the Argon Neo M.2 case.
