“A game changer for me with the new SATA port. Works perfecly as a NAS with OMV and many docker containers (plex server, gitlab, nginx reverse proxy, transmission, ...).”
“Upgraded from a Pi4b. Easy to understand instruction manual. Once I flashed my os to the sd card and then attached my peripherals and micro hdmi to my monitor, setup was easy and quick.
Now running inside my Argon Neo 5 case.”
“Much faster compared to its predecessor RPi4. As a result, RPi5 runs Ubuntu (24.04 LTS) with ease. Speed of browsing using Chromium is acceptable.
If I had one complain, it is the fact that after "shutting down", the SBC continues to draw current and remains slightly warm. A power switch is really needed.”
