“Great Pi! I am using it for a full stack web server with Rails, Puma, Nginx, and Postgres and it runs very well. Enclosed in a backpack with its own wifi access point, it hasn't topped 65C yet even on a hot day. I had to fiddle with some settings to enable an external SSD, running all this with Gentoo requires a little manual tweaking. On average it is drawing 3.5 to 4.5 Watts max. My battery (Alogic) could drive it for more than 20 hours. Much better than expected!”

The PI5 was being used with the Neo5 NVME case, and needed the USB to set up the system. A pity, as the rest was excellent.”
