The Pi Zero 2 W has excellent performance in nearly all instances (only with chromium I had some problems). It is as small as the other Pi Zeros and I use the same cases as before. With the latest OS (bullseye; just flashed, already configured or working from Pi3) it does not boot. But buster is working fine. Now I have a small, mobile Pi with a performance of a Pi 3 - fantastic!

The Pi Zero 2W is a great little machine and worth 5 stars. Unfortunately the first one I received died after about 24 hours. I ran a number of checks to confirm it was the Pi at fault and then contacted support reporting the symptoms and checks I had completed. That is when things got more difficult than they should have been. I was asked to carry out further checks and advise which version of Raspbian I had used. I did so and reported back. I had inadvertently advised I had installed the previous version of the O/S so was asked to try installing the latest version. I think we all know that one version difference in the O/S is not going to make a difference when the Pi was showing no sign of life whatsoever. It felt like support were grasping at straws to stall me returning the faulty unit. I've been working with Unix and Linux systems in a professional capacity for over 30 years and have several Pis fulfilling various functions - I found the whole process rather patronising. Had I purchased from Amazon I could simply have initiated a return without being challenged in this way and obtained a replacement far more quickly...
