“More flexible than the usual ESP32 and smaller than a regular PI. Using a couple for BLE and other smart home chores.
Wi-Fi seems to be a little sketchy but once its settled down, it stays connected. Sadly only 2.4.
Great little device and powerful for its size/power draw”
“Great for projects where you want a cheap & small computer with wifi connectivity. Soldering on a pin header was ok despite lack of practice. If you're not going to connect a monitor, put the SD card or flash drive into a computer first, then enter the wifi name & password into a file called wpa_supplicant.conf in the /etc/wpa_supplicant directory. The Pi should connect to wifi when it is booted.”
“Extremely happy to be able to get hold of a raspberry pi 2 zero w and pi hut made the purchase as painless as it could possibly be. Delivered promptly and as expected”
“This purchase was to upgrade a Pi Zero W, in a custom enclosure, to allow the use of AirPlay2 functionality with the excellent Shairport-Sync package (experimental branch at the time of writing; requires more CPU power). I found this Pi worked as a drop-in replacement and was easy to connect and set up. All connectors matched their previous locations and GPIO connectivity was in the same location too - important for other duties its predecessor performed!”
