“It's a later version of the software from my Pi Zero W. Now its "Bookworm", and I am unable to easily run a job on boot. Yes there are all sorts of methods posted but a lot refer to older releases. I thought cron would be the easy answer, but no. Really, shouldn't it be an easy mainstream thing, to run something every start. Something for Raspi-Config perhaps”
“Arrived promptly and well packaged
To be used for a magic mirror project, being powered off the usb port of the monitor that I'll be cannibalising for the job and connecting the video via hdmi port.
Not sure if it's doable, I've seen pi4's used in this way, I think the zero will be up to it too, if it does work, then I'll look at different ways in which to utilise the gpios to add to the project, motion sensor to power on, microphone set up, perhaps camera too?
Whatever happens it'll be a fun journey”
