“This is what makes your small projects go! Proper computing power. I even compiled hamlib straight on it and I was impressed how quickly it has done it.”
“Excellent upgrade over the original Zero W with just a couple of drawbacks; it still only has 512MB of RAM (and yes the excuses are it won't fit which doesn't hold that much water - Radxa Zero) and it consumes a bit more power now.
It's definitely worth it for the additional performance, but that memory restriction may hold it back for some applications.”
“Because it always seems that these Pi's get sprung on the community there is often little support for the changes that occur. That makes buying early a pain if you have a specific need and it isn't supported yet. Sure it's nice to wake up and see a new Pi waiting to be brought but if there was more lead time projects might be able to prepare earlier.
Other than that, it is the Pi Zero but faster (cpu wise) so if your using a Zero and need more single and cores then go for it.”
“The product is absolutely fantastic as well as the price. I was slightly disappointed that the Pi only came in a sealy bag and a jiffy bag, I wish it came in a box like the Pi4.”
