“Works perfectly as a host for Octopi 3D print server. Can run hot and flagged a frequency capping in Octoprint so worth considering thermal management and a decent power supply.”
“I wasnt expecting much performance but this little board is FAST. I installed retropie for raspi 2/3 image and it worked fine after a few lines of code to make sound work over hdmi, a new prebuilt image is coming so nobody will have to mess about like I did. Wifi range is better than the original pi zero I found and because its the same form factor it fitted into my GPICASE perfectly. Ver much recommend this product if you are lucky enough to find one!”
“I'm really impressed with this! It's running as a headless wifi camera and works really smooth without getting too hot. I'm yet to try out other things with it and will be buying some more of these and for a great price too!”
“What can I Say, an amazing boost between the zero w and the zero2!
Got the heatsink as I believe the max overclock on these bad boys is 1ghz up to 1.3 so need the extra cooling if going in a project.
Mines currently still sat in it’s anti static bag as there are waaaaay too many projects I want to tackle & I just can’t decide.
If you are looking to overclock and run retropie - I’ve seen these running Dreamcast games darn smooth.
I think I need another 3 or 4 for all the projects but my mrs would kill me”
“No reason to mark this down, but have not used in anger. Like the fact it works with previous model accessories waiting for DietPi supported release before fully testing (due in next few days).”
