“Got the Pi Zero 2. To test it I tried a few things out. Everything I ran worked fine. I have not stress-tested the device or run any benchmarks. What I did do was noticeably faster than the Pi Zero, which means it is about twice as fast from experience (any less and I don't notice).
I used it to replace a Pi Zero which had issues with Bluetooth communications to some devices, due to the distances involved. The Pi Zero 2 located in the same place has no issues. Leaving one very happy customer.”
“Really pleasantly surprised by the additional power of this new version of the Pi Zero, looking forwards to putting these into some upcoming projects.”
“Ordered mine on release day in the UK (8th Oct) from Pi-Hut then waited several days for Royal Mail to deliver it, even though is was despatched promptly. Initially I had real problems with my Zero running painfully slowly, but I ran the RPi diagnostics app and found the write speed on my new 32Gb class 10 Kingston SD card (not purchased from Pi-Hut) was very slow. The only spare I had was a used 16Gb ScanDisk class 10 card, and after installing Raspbian everything worked fine. I am running the Raspbian Desktop version without recommended software as I would rather add just add programs as I need them. I plan to use the Zero2 for ham radio as applications, and have attached the Ethernet add-on hardware. So far everything is running well. I already have Pi 3 and 4, plus a couple of B+, but the Zero2 is a nice addition rather than a replacement.”
