“It says 'The camera comes with two cables (15-pin and 22-pin) allowing you to use this with all Raspberry Pi computers which feature a CSI port, including the Raspberry Pi 5.' but I only received the 15-pin and I have a raspberry pi 5... Annoying as it has now delayed the project.”
“The flex cable which came with this camera has some issue. when I connect just the cable the board fails to power up, I have connected my CM5 to nano-B carrier board from waveshare. Then I ordered another CSI cables and then the camera and board worked fine. the camera has good clarity and good quality of picture with my CM5, the camera had very litttle latancy.”
“Well, if I'm being honest, there's nothing particularly special about this camera. It would have been better if there were some REAL software demonstrating the use of the camera. As a "supposedly" AI camera, there's nothing AI about it. I think the AI aspect of this camera and other products are being overstated.”
“The Raspberry Pi AI Camera arrived well-packed and included some great extras—an extra cable compatible with the Raspberry Pi 5 and a camera focus adjustment tool, which was a nice surprise!
Delivery was fast, and the camera itself works flawlessly—easy to set up and delivers excellent performance for AI and computer vision projects.
Highly recommended for anyone looking for a reliable, high-quality camera module for their Raspberry Pi!”
