Works as expected. Updated from a Pi 4 and the performance increase is notisable. Use it for Home Assistant and it is able to handle alot more devices and addons.

My first Raspberry 5, joining my collection of 3, 4's and 0's. This is used to replace my ageing Apple TV as part of my de-Appleification! Of course it can do anything the Apple TV could do, just from open sources, but far more as well, its a full computer after all. Want to buy anything on line, no problem, program a Pico, no problem, even write my next masterpiece (very unlikely!) no problem! Yes, I could buy a second hand PC for less, but that wouldn't be as neat, tidy or small, plus its made in the UK!

Solid mini computer. I got the 8MB version. Note: Write your own Rasbian image, the one on the SD card is a 32bit version and you will want the 64bit version. Also note that SSHD is disabled by default so you will need to have a monitor and keyboard for initial boot.
