“This is a fantastic DAC that turned my ageing Stereo into a wireless streamer for Airplay and Spotify connect. Simply connect the Red & White RCA plugs with a decent cable to your stereo AUX inputs. One thing I didn't realise is it's not compatible with HifiBerry OS however Volumio and Moode OS work brilliantly.”

I would caution against plugging the card directly into the back of the Pi 400. When I tried this the card was not recognised and it began to overheat, but this was solved by connecting it via a breakout cable. The auto install process did not work in my case but it was easy to manually edit the config.txt file in the boot directory to disable the existing sound driver and load the IQ Audio driver.”
