“I got a few of these to get started with electronics and coding before moving into IoT builds. The Pi Pico is really capable, easy to connect (although it would be better if it took a usb-c cable) and pretty robust. Used it primarily to do some basic electronics stuff before moving onto the wifi variant. Much easier to have the pre-soldered headers!”
“Have played around with many project with grandson and few without with so many more projects to try. Fantacic tuturials on The PiHut page and the internet extremly happy”
“The pins feel better supported than on a manually soldered version (partly due to my soldering, see image). I think this version is certainly worth the extra pennies if you plan to solder pins on the Pico at some point.”
“Only (minor) problem was that as a newbie, I expected the Pico to come with a micro lead. Having thought about it, it is a bit obvious but it would have helped me if there had been note to say that it doesn't include a lead, and offering a lead as an additional item. Other than that, everything about buying this was great.”
