“This mains power adapter is a recommended adapter for the Pi. It is well built appears strong and even looks quite sleek. It is small enough to be easily portable fitting in with the UK three pin plug footprint - (the Pi is small so it wouldn't be to good to have a house brick of a supply with it!) This small unit doesn't seem to compromise the power supply's electronics - I haven't had any overheating of the adapter nor have I had any brownouts on the Pi. The lead is of the figure of eight (bell wire) layout and has coded conductors dashes /unmarked of reasonable length 1.8m? and of substantial cross section (reducing voltage drop) Overall seems a good unit at a good price.”
