“I do wish this had come with instructions/guide - I still don't know if it's working or not. Things are further confused by searching online - Am I expected to cut a hole in my case? Some official 1 min YouTube video's would go a long way.
Same with the heat sink shown in the picture - some guidance would have been nice”
“Fan performs well and keeps the already cool(ish) Pi, even cooler. The only slight complaint I have is that the fan noise can become annoying quickly. But this is remedied with a short trip to raspiconfig to turn on auto fan! Highly recommend it if you're buying the official case.”
“The fans works perfectly, as you would expect.
When buying it I didnt realise that it was specifically for the official PI case (my fault for not reading it), but I was able to pop out the fan and glue it into my case without issue.”
