“Very easy to assemble and disassemble Pi4 fits in easily and lid clicks on so easily. Haven't run for very long periods and because I read it would throttle back its processor speed if it overheated I left the lid off. Suggest modifying lid to include fan with jumper leads”
“This is a nice looking case & I am happy with my purchase, however I would give a word of warning; the RPi 4 runs super hot, when in this case & I think I will be looking for a case that has room for a fan.”
“The Pi4 runs much hotter than previous models, and it really needs active cooling. My Pi4 without a case idles at 57'C. My Pi4 in this case idles at 68'C. As soon as you start doing any kind of light load, you very quickly hit 80'C at which point it throttles back the CPU, thus negating the greatest benefit of the new Pi - it's speed.
Wait for a decent case with an option for active cooling.”
