“It irks me no end that the cable is moulded to the plug... I'd really like this stuff to interoperate to avoid waste in the long term. Nonetheless this is the real deal, it'll definitely power your Pi4B and it's reasonably well made for something that's hopefully not going to get nearly as much wear as your average phone charger. And, let's face it, it's cheap by A**le standards.”
“You'd think any USB-C cable & adaptor to power a PI would do it, but it seems not, its very picky (Especially if using external USB items that draw power like HDD)
you might see a little lightning icon in the corner of the screen sometimes, this is the PI warning you its struggling to get enough juice.
one of these official power supplies will sort that out.”
