“Ordered a Pi 4 Model B 4GB from Pi Hut, unfortunately, this has stopped working but thankfully Pi Hut's support has been outstanding with regards to this.”
“Still a great product. Can be used as an acceptable desktop computer without too much work or super technical knowledge. 3D printers know this product well, the excellent Octoprint software makes printing easy.
Reliance on an SD card can prove a little problematic but It is a simple job to make the Pi boot from a Flash drive or SSD HD via a USB 3 port. Great value for money with lots of free software available.”
“Amazingly powerful for such a small board. It is almost as responsive as my pi400 with the advantage of an extra USB port and an audio jack. I bought the 4Gb version which is a nice balance between cost and capability.
Installing the 64-bit Bullseye OS has allowed me to test my apps to check for compatibility before I convert my other Pis from 32-bit. So far only one failure. The 4Gb memory and 4 cores allow me to run several apps in parallel without any slowdown in responsiveness.
I'm going to have fun with it.”
