“Ordered 2GB version, but seem to have received the 4GB model. Regardless of which model you pick, the Pi 4 is a solid upgrade over the 3. Switch to USB C very much appreciated, solid wired network performance and surprisingly good wireless.”
“This is definitely an upgrade from my Pi 3B+. I'm using mine as a media server, and I can see the performance improvement. My only concern, which is a given due to the increased performance, is that the Pi 4 gets much hotter than that 3B+ even after the firmware updates (which have actually helped). Since the Pi 4 gets so hot, it is all the more important to get at least a heatsink case rather than the official pi case. I went with the Argon Neo case, which works great and has lowered the Pi 4 temperatures by about 10 degrees celsius. Overall I am very happy with my purchase.”

“My previous Pi was a version B+. They've come on a long way since then! In fact, the only downside of the Pi 4 is that it's too cool to use for a single project! I wanted to use it to run a birdbox camera, with a PoE hat. But it's got so many potential uses that I don't really want to install it permanently in the bird box! Maybe I'll just have to buy another one!”
