“I like a nice small neat keyboard and this is the one for me. Doesn't take a lot of space. Has a nice feel (always nice in a keyboard). Keys are well seperated, with good travel, quiet for late night work. And adding 3 usb ports is the bees knees. My mouse and encrypted usb drive now hang off the keyboard instead of an usb port on the computer which gives me a more flexibility and ease of access.”
“Nice and simple keyboard. I was using a wireless keyboard initially, which kept disconnecting so I decided to get an official wired one. This keyboard is simple, but nice and easy to type on. Also, it's useful having the three extra USB slots on the keyboard. I would definitely recommend.”
“A few months back I bought a Raspberry pi 400 , one of the things that impressed me was the keyboard, very little desk space and a real pleasure to use, streaks ahead to my other normal size clunky keyboard. My family were so impressed that we have decided to gradually replace our individual keyboards with the Raspberry Pi keyboard alternative, between us we have 6 computers, everyone now knows what their birthday present will be
I live in Portugal, I expected mega problems with customs when I purchased my first replacement keyboard, on the contrary, it arrived within a few days of being told that the keyboard has been dispatched.”
“Great little keyboard only issue was identifying it on set up most information say pick a generic keyboard description but most are 100+keys and this doesn't work . the nearest one that works well was the SUN USB 4 keyboard and all the keys work apart from the screenshot key . a manufacturer name would be helpful .”
“Keyboards are very subjective, so one person's preference will be another person's irritant. In my opinion, it is a good keyboard, well made, reasonably priced. The chicklet style keys and the amount of feedback on the keys is not my preferred style, which drops it from a 5* to 4*, but other than that, cannot fault it.
However, the reason why you need this keyboard is because of the 3 USB sockets built into the keyboard itself. When operating a RPi, you very quickly run out of USB ports, and this keyboard presents a nice elegant solution to this problem.”
