“This model is still fit for purpose for certain projects. I had a Roadstar portable LCD tv, almost 20 years old and I was reluctant to dispose of it so I decided to use VLC to play a m3u8 stream from my home SMTP encoder attached to a Freesat reciever . It works a treat and I can change channels with my harmony hub . In less than two months, I've bought 8 raspberry pis, all put to good dedicated use ranging from internet radio to Kodi server to weather display. I'm really pleased with pihuts service and prompt delivery.”
“Quite limited instructions but then I suppose you only buy one with a specific use in mind. Easy to set up, and I'm using it headless but tested it with a monitor and desktop is slow, mouse printer is like dragging it through treacle.
