If you are choosing the A+ for a project you probably know a bit about the pi already however I urge you to be very careful and choose wisely. Can you go the extra £10 for a B+?. Can you do without certain benifits should your change the project later. In addition Ive found compatiability problems abound, developers not supporting it through either hardware issues or software packages being developed for other incarnations PI but not tested for the A+. My advice is to leave a few months until the community picks up as it seems to be a bit more slack in comparison to the release of the zero W or B.

All I needed with much smaller footprint.

This is really good for an SBC of this size - the cpu is pretty powerful and raspian runs well. The lower memory isn't really noticeable for general use.

This 3 A+ has the amazing power of the 3 B+ in the smaller form factor. It is great for projects that don’t require many USB ports. I am using mine as a Flightradar24 Pi tracker, it works wonders. I would highly recommend

Idwdl for what I needed - building a magic mirror so a 3B would be wasted with all the extra USB ports, this has the power to run the mirror and just the basic in outs I need. Couldn’t be happier with this new Pi!
