“I’ve only had it for a week, but so far it’s been a breeze to install and configure, and it seems to handle what I’m asking of it pretty well (real time audio processing - I’ve installed PatchboxOS to get a real time kernel, and It Just Works).”
“Seems to be having issues. when it first arrived, I noticed the micro SD card bay was not a push to pop in - push to pop out system. Figured it may be a fault but it seemed to read cards. Currently, just a power on constant red LED - tried multiple micro cards, different hdmi, power, etc... nothing seems to be working. going to try sending back for replacement for the same model if possible. the pi 4 seems tempting but won't need dual display and there's way more community packages and support for pi 3 at the min so not worth the etras for what we will be using it for - Cyber Security Research”
“I still use the Pi3 for several headless applications because of it's reliability and fairly low power consumption. It's great that PiHut still have previous models.”
