“Having a few smart devices at home, I thought I'd start look into a way of integrating them and by using Home Assistant. A a starting point, it seemed that a Raspberry Pi was the cheapest and simplest solution. I bought the cheaper Pi 3 Model B rather than the more expensive Model 4 with some concern that it may not be powerful enough however I've been blown away with how it has worked.
The Pi arrived earlier than expected in pristine condition.
