“The bog-standard Pi Zewo W is cheaper, but this comes with a presoldered header connector, essential if you want to "break out" and connect HATs or other external devices.
If you are not a confident solderer, (or neither have a soldering equipment, or the time to do it yourself) the extra couple of quid is well worth it.
It's a slight shame the other headers (reset, and composite video) are not also included, but this would cost more, and be of limited use for most users.”
“It’s a Raspberry Pi Zero W, with the header pre-soldered - far better soldering than I can manage. This is ideal for projects where you need the GPIO Pins. Of course, there are times when you don’t want these (where space is tight, or they just aren’t needed) so it’s great that you can still get the standard “W”.”
