“Distinctly different approach compared to the Arduino, which I'd used previously. Easy to set up with the pre-installed NOOBS micro SD card available as an add-on and recommended. Plenty of tutorials, software and hardware available. I set it up using a standard mouse, keyboard and monitor with a USB hub and micro USB to USB adapter, and then set up VNC. After that VNC via a Wi-Fi connection gives you a useable remote desktop on a regular PC.”
“Bought this to go wit the CamJam Edukit 3 robotics kit. The Pi Zero works fantastically and came pre-soldered with the header as I do not have soldering tools in my apartment. I managed to get the robot up and running in under an hour! I will probably buy more for more fun projects!”
“Amazing piece of kit for the price. I have had one running pi-hole for about 2 years and wanted another to run as a temperature and humidity recorder. To set it up I copied the wpa_supplicant.conf file from the previous pi zero w and could not get the wifi working. Eventually I noticed that the psk = "password" was in upper case and changing it to lowercase worked.”
“I used this for a project to make a motion activated camera. Thought I will need the pins for a motion detector but turns out MotionOS does not need motion sensor as this is done with camera
