“I like the Pi zero. It's easy to program with some Linux or Unix knowledge. There are ample online resources when you need help or get stuck.
I'd always go for the version with WiFi even if your project does not require a network connection; it is just easier to administer.
The pre-soldered header is helpful when your projects need periphery.”
“A fantastic device that can run most office apps, just needs a wireless keyboard, mouse and a suitable screen, it will even run off of a USB battery.”
“While the device is fine, it's more by sheer luck than any practical effort on the part of the Pi Hut. The Pi was left to freely bounce around in the mailer box, no bubble wrap or any other soft protection. The pic is exactly how it arrived. Whoever packed it didn’t even bother to seal it in the anti static bag (which it had fallen out of in the box due to being able to bounce around freely in the box). I did flag this in a support post on January 21, 2023. However, my feedback was ignored (all it needed was an acknowledgement and maybe a commitment to do better next time).”
“Wonderful product but whats even better than the pi itself is the excellent, speedy service from piHut - truly one of the best online tech stores in the UK, The pi arrived quickly and was a perfect fir for a small retro gaming project, Works like a charm and very easy to fit and update.”
“A nice piece of kit. Performs as expected. Very pleased and impressed that the Pi Hut are not charging excessive prices to profit from the shortage of Raspi Pi s. Prompt delivery as always. I plan to use it to wirelessly control a NanoVNA.”
