This NoIR camera module is excellent. Takes very good pictures and is great even for shooting stars and Northen Lights! Great value vs performance!

I use this as a surveillance camera, it's connected to a pi-pan and pi-light. So i have pan & tilt, motion detection - only seems to pick up passing cars though! The clarity is amazing for such a small camera and night time pictures are so much clearer than my ip camera. Night time viewing pics will get blurry with fast moving objects eg cars. however some of these drawbacks may be rectified in the camera settings, i haven't deleved too deep yet. I set my white balance to auto and exposure to night and taking pictures at night using RPi-web interface is impressive. Nice cheap camera, i have three now!

Great night camera, mine is connected to a Pi-pan with pan/tilt functionality. It also has a pi-light which i control via RPi web-interface. The street light outside provides enough light when exposure is set to night mode to give clear detailed photos without much noise. Streaming is blurred with fast moving objects as expected. I have three of these now!

I got this module for a bird box project. While it is theoretically possible to remove IR-filter from some web cameras for example, this thing just makes things much easier. I added few GPIO controlled IR-leds to the box roof and this camera with wide-eye lens. Lens is fixed focus, but the focus can actually be adjusted by carefully removing tiny bits of glue and rotating the lens. This was essential in my project to get the board focus close. I also tried macro imaging and the results were pretty good.

Works really well in low light levels. Great for experimenting and simple to install.

I bought this for a garden project. The picture quality is reasonable. The hardest thing was setting up the software.

This piece of kit was easy to install but took a little time for me, as a newcomer to the Raspberry Pi, to sort out the coding, but once my brain was in gear, all went well.
