“I loved the Pi camera and used it for myself on my OctoPi on my 3D printer. Upgrading to a Pi3 and Pi camera V2 was an easy, but noticeable performance increase.”
“Quick delivery from PiHut as usual. Thought it might be a straight swap for v1 camera but had problems getting it to be recognised:

Had to run ‘sudo rpi-update’ before it would work ok. Noticeable improvement in image quality.”
“The camera is fine with a good resolution and sensitivity. It caused no problems in use. I am not totally happy with the fact that I cannot find a suitable case that will take the module and a Pi to form a closed unit but that might be because I am not looking in the right place. I am also unhappy about the fact that I ordered a memory card at the same time and which still has not arrived.”
