This is a great little camera for any Raspberry Pi. The only thing that could make this better is if the camera could be put on a smaller board for a smaller footprint. That would make it easier to use for aerial applications.

I bought this to capture video in combination with a small flyer. Haven't got that far yet but testing this with a raspberry did show that the resolution is great and the image is better than expected (with bad lighting). I'd planned to use this as a viewfinder and use another camera to actually record, but that might not even be necessary.

Easy to work connect and with good image quality. I'm using it with motion on a Zero W and it works like a charm. Also fits perfectly in the Zero W case

Great camera component. Just remember to buy a different connector if using zero.

And yet again the Foundation have succeeded in developing a superb bit of kit!. It is incredible how much has been achieved in just a few years, from the first Pi{version} to the power house of the Pi 3 today, and now lucky users makers and hobbit's we have this new camera, the quality of picture is quite remarkable (and yes I know Mobiles have been doing the same for awhile but seriously for only £24 what more could you want ?). I'm impressed with the wide angle of field plus great clarity (although I can't compare against the previous model as I've never had one). In conclusion after a lot of waffle So glad I bought this!,

Using it with a Pi Zero W and a Zero View to monitor birds in my garden with Motion software running on the Zero. Next plan is a wearable in the Red Zero Case, with a zero LiPo to power it. Next camera will be a NoIR version to replace the one in the Zero View, with the original in the Zero Case. Great!
