“I have both the v2 camera as well as the brand new HiRes camera. I actually prefer the v2 camera (this product), despite being an older camera because it has a fixed focus and aperture and always results in a sharp picture. With the HiRes Camera you are always fiddling with the focus. Also this v2 camera fits on the tilt-adjustable mount from picammount.com that attaches to the RaspberryPi case itself, while the new camera is too large to use that kind of a mounting solution.”
“Not a lot to write really. I used the adaptor ribbon cable that came with the camera and lo and behold, 1 camera, 1 Pi zero W and 1 case and voila, a surveillance system. (after downloading the software of course) The ultimate accolade of course was from my non technically minded wife "It's very clear isn't it0”
