“unfortunatley I have been hospitalized for some time and have been unable to get to grips with the Rasberry Pi as yet. but will hope to connect to a disused laptop once I'm able”
“I have had a few different Raspberry Pi's in the past, I had the Raspberry Pi 1 B+, then I brought the Raspberry Pi 2, and now I have the Raspberry Pi 3 B and I must say it is a really nice boost in power and it seems to run Rasbian brilliantly!
I have been addicted to trying out some games on this too like OpenTTD and I must say I am hooked! I downloaded it through the Terminal using the wireless internet and I haven't lost the signal once, I've been watching videos on the internet with it too and browsing online shopping sites like PiHut and it never really seems to slow down.
Haven't tried the Bluetooth yet but I have a pair of wireless Bluetooth headphones I use for my tablet so will give them a go as well! Overall I think getting something that does everything my tablet does but easier (Since I don't need to use the touchscreen controls) and cost's a fraction of the price! And I think the wifi on this is actually a bit quicker too.
Overall very pleasant to use and a welcome addition to my growing collection of PC's and oddities!”
“I now have three pi 3’s and four pi 2’s, 4 have, soon to be 5, dedicated tasks, the remainder are trials machines. they are a brilliant learning tool and for trying out software, if you screw it up just re-image the SD card and you are back up and running in minutes.”
“The pi 3 is lot faster for the money you pay it's brilliant. I am getting another one or two. I have told my friends about the new pi 3 and they purchased the new pi .”
