“I upgraded from the previous model B+ to the PI in the hope of a better response within RasPlex which can be a little sluggish at times. I'm not disappointed there are a few software bugs to be expected, but the difference in speed of UI and processing sorts on long lists is a huge improvement.”
“The CPU here is not going to do miracles. Your phone probably has better. As a CPU upgrade, this is not worth it. However, the added RAM makes everything snappier and allows more complex programs to run. Be sure to check out the FLIRC case which is a perfect companion to this great product.”
“Having previously been using the Pi B this Pi 2 - model B is wow, what speed it go's. Down loading the new operating software was a breeze. I use mine with a Fuze keyboard and installation was no problem and worked straight away. The Pi 2 model -B performed on surfing the net faster than my Acer laptop. I tried using it for accessing my D-Link share centre with no problems in speed or playback. A present I have not had time to try the Pi 2 Model -B with some of my projects I built earlier but I don't expect any problems with using them with this updated Pi. All in all this is a great upgrade and I expect to spend many happy hours playing about and learning new uses for this little gem.”
