“Downloaded latest Raspian. Downloaded Logitech Media Server (squeezebox) Out of the box, and running as my LMS in about 90 mins. This little thing is peppy and a breeze to get going. I ordered the aluminum FLIRC case with built in heatsink, over clocked to 1GHz, case only slightly warm to touch. Even running LMS, the CPU's are only running less than 10%. Time to consider consolidating shell-in-a-box, mini DNS server for my mail server and LDAP address book onto this little thing, it's not busy enough!”
“I bought this amazing piece of kit to use as a 2nd box to run Kodi in my bedroom. Looking a cheaper alternative than my Chromebox I didn't think it would perform to anywhere near the same standard..... but I was wrong. Well worth the money and I've only touch the surface of what it can do.
Point to not The Pi Hut were great to deal with but if you want this quickly don't rely on the free postage, took 5 days for mine to arrive by Royal Mail. Other than that everything was present and correct and we'll packaged.”
“I bought it to use a media pc in my lounge, running it through my Yamaha AVR. It works exactly as I'd want it to, and doesn't have any playback issues.
I had been using an old phone charger that works fine, but it's causing issues with hdmi cec and the wifi dongle, so I've bought the correct psu and would suggest any potential buyers do the same.”
