It is inexpensive, but provides all the functionality needed.
It is easy to 'program' and very straight forward to use.”

The only reason it's not a 1 star is because of complications with covid-19 and the fact that customer support is willing to help me out.

“Raspberry pi zero's are great as long as you understand the performance limitations. They are roughly equivalent to a raspberry pi 1 (maybe slightly higher clock speed), but with the added advantage of a fully supported wifi adaptor built in (rather than the increasingly dwindling support for many older USB wifi adaptors in raspbian). Setup is simple - Just drop Raspbian Lite onto a SDCARD, edit wpa_supplication.conf and add your wifi settings, Create an empty file called ssh to enable ssh server at boot and plug in. Once booted you can ssh to raspberrypi.local and start configuring.”
