“seriously, now the pi zero is just as it should have always been. whatever uses a mini/microcomputer nowadays has, i think that it always benefits from connectivity. of course, you could always usb a wireless or bluetooth dongle onto it, or even more with a hub, but it added bulk to an otherwise slim and lean PCB. now, with both wireless and bluetooth onboard, many many new opportunities arise, and allow for much more ease of usage and planning.
well done, indeed”
“I used it to make a local file server in my home, it's a bit slow but totally worth it. I have owned one of the more powerful ones before but never did anything with it. This was because of the hassle of getting it connected to the internet with a cable while also being able to reach the monitor, mouse and keyboard. My setup is still a mess but having wireless built in removed one of the barriers that had kept me from using the previous Pi.”
