“I was surprised by how small it really is. However, it works fairly well but is slower than my original Pi B. The camera connection has a tendency to come loose from the camera port and the power, USB and HDMI connections don't always fully engage when using the Pi Zero W case. I do like the flexibility of the case with its different tops, but I'm currently using the camera top for my time lapse project.”
“I'm using it as a time lapse camera and a small webserver which builds automatically once a day a time lapse video from the photos it has taken. Works like a dream for my purposes and has a very low power consumption.”
“The only thing that's held me back on using the PiZero for projects before has been that lack of inbuilt network connectivity; the issue being that you need to use a USB hub to connect an adopter given that there's only 1 USB port. Now this is remedied with the addition of WiFi and Bluetooth it makes this a brilliant little board for miniature projects. At the moment mine is generating teletext pages for use with my old TV !”
