“The Raspberry Zero WiFi & BT is one great platform for small project.
Install the latest Raspbian on the SD-Card:
- add your wifi to the /etc/wpa_supplicant/wpa_supplicant.conf file
- add a empty file called "ssh" on the boot partition
power it on and access it with putty or ssh, so easy :)
:( Only missing the connection to the FM Radio in the wifi module.”
“Everything you could possibly need in a tiny footprint - with the latest raspbian installed, very little config was needed to get anything extra working. With the wifi, bluetooth, I2C and GPIO, this is an idea basis for home automation.”

If you are not sure full Pi is for you or you simply looking for a budget solutions Pi Zero W will be perfect for you. For less than £10 you will get a (almost) complete microcomputer. Word of wisdom: there is a hidden cost of getting your Pi up and running: you will need at lest microSD card and card reader and a power supply.
