“I first ordered this Pi Z because I thought my old Pi model B was beginning to fail. In fact it turned out to be the wifi dongles that were overheating, I tried two of them. It is interesting that the Pi z wifi works reliably in the same location without significant temperature rise and costs less than a good usb wifi adapter.
The Pi Z contains all the hardware I need.together with some homemade electronics and an Adafruit pwm hat to make a controller for a small 4 motor robot. Buy the board only option as any connectors or adapters you might need are available cheaper than buying in a kit.”
