“The official Raspberry Pi 3 case is the perfect home for RPi3. It comes in a funky white and pink colour with easy snap together assembly. Once built the top and side panels can be removed as and when required for easy access. The micro SD can also be easily inserted/removed once the case is fully assembled. However, don't try to assemble the case with the micro SD card already in place as you'll risk snapping the end off the card (like I did). Slot it in once the box is assembled.”
“I've seen/bought several cases and this is by far the best i've come across. It looks lovely, is easy to put together and has a handy removable lid.
The only minor drawback is that it can be a little difficult to get jumper cables attached to the GPIO pins while the sides are on the case.
would definitely get another one of these when i order my next pi though.”
“Parts that you don't need can be easily removed, which makes this case perfect for every use case (pun intended) that you can think of.
Would definitely buy again!”
“Already had the 1 and 2, but always had to mess with USB Wi-Fi dongles. Not that it was that hard to configure, but still, it bothered me the RPi didn't have Wi-Fi. But now it has! Don't notice much speed improvement over the 2, since that one was already quite speedy, but it's definitely better than the previous iteration. Also, I ordered with The Pi Hut pretty soon after launch and it did take a few days before it managed to get shipped. But following that, it got here very swiftly (in Belgium). Thanks Pi Hut, saw on your Twitter feed it were a couple of rough weeks getting all the orders out, but I'm a happy customer!”
“Case is solid and well-made. It perfectly fits Raspberry Pi 3B. So it is a good way to protect it (both for looks and durability). Only issue is that you can't connect something with DSI and pull out the cable when it's fully-closed.”
