“This is a quality box which my Pi 3 B fits neatly. It allows access to all the connectors and ports and looks very professional.
Its one bad point for me is that if you wish to connect a ribbon cable extender to the GPIO header, you will need one with a low profile socket else the lid doesn't quite fit over it. Other than this, I give it 100%.”
“The case is pretty, though it makes the GPIO pins inaccessible (you can take off the lid but then what's the point?) and I can't help but wonder if it makes cooling more difficult.”
“I really like this case. RPi sits there nicely, all the parts are of a really nice quality and fit together perfectly. I would only suggest adding some (dis)assembly instructions, because I had to figure it out on myself. It wasn't difficult, but initially I was worried I could break something. But overall highly recommended.”
“The official case is of superb quality and feel. The design is good and I love the red/white color combination. However two things keep this case from recieving a perfect score. The first one is the lack of camera mount (and you need to take the whole top/side off to slip a camera through). The second is that the the bottom lacks scew holes/spots for wall/rackmount as well as a decent stacking method.”
