“I love this little device! I use the Pi as a small emulation box/media centre/Minecraft server! The case itself can make the Pi run a little hot however, but nothing that can't be solved by taking the lid off.”
“Everything you need to get started is in the kit, and the pi 4vis a great piece of kit.
One issue for me is that the pi 4 will overheat in the case supplied and so the pi 4 will throttle cpu speed. This is not useful when streaming full HD videos. I understand that there is now a case with fan in available, and this would be better for the starter kit.
Another observation is that there is no switch on the power adapter. As the pi doesn't have one either it means using the mains switch or removing the supply from the pi 4. A couple of years ago I purchased a starter kit for pi 3 and the supply had a switch. This is much more convenient and usable.”
