“The HDMI cable is good quality, as is the power supply. The Pi itself is super powerful, and exactly as expected. However .. the case is a liability - no ventilation to speak of, and the CPU on the Pi quickly exceeded 82C in normal operation. I have since upgraded to a Flirc case, which is massively better at keeping temperatures down, even though at the cost of preventing access to the internal connectors.
Sadly, the SD card was missing from my shipment - I had the small plastic envelope that it should have been in, but alas, no card anywhere in the packaging (I checked very thoroughly). Customer services sent a replacement next-day, but it was still a bit of a disappointment to have to raise a ticket and wait for it to arrive, not to mention wasteful to have DHL deliver a MicroSD card!
I've rated 4 stars because of the case - if you're buying this kit, do yourself a favour and get a proper thermally managed case from the very start - because I can almost guarantee that you'll be buying one within a week of using the Pi if you don't.”

“Have waited a while ro get this model Pi and Im not disappointed. Now getting to know it better and thinking how I want use it with my grand children. Only slight criticism would be that I needed to buy a mini hdmi to hdmi converter seperately to use the device with a monitor as the kit comes with a mini hdmi to DVI for a tv connection. I can understand the logic but for another £3 on the price, I would rather it was included in the kit. But it is only a minor issue that should not reflect from another great pi.”
